What '80s hair band sang "My Number"?

The band changed names at some point. Before or after "My Number", I
don't remember. I believe they had one pseudo-hit that was a
power-ballad (maybe about suicide or not having real friends or
something) but was not the song I'm asking about. This song was a
three power-chord song (like most of the day...)

When I google, all I come up with is Milli Vanilli. THAT is not the
correct answer, although they were from the '80s, had a lot of hair
and sang a song about "my number".

Any ideas?
