Interesting ideas for my sax section?

Okay band geeks, band camp is coming up, and I'm the saxophone section
leader. We have a reputation for being awesome and creative and proud,
but the trombone section leader is trying to step in on that by buying
his whole section aviator sunglasses (we're a small school, so it's
not that big an expense). Anyone have a creative and cheap way to
counter this?

Oh, and if it helps, I'm looking at about 5 altos (including me), 3
tenors, and 1 bari.

What song is playing in the background for a scene in the third episode of Bones?

While watching Bones on my iPod the other night (Episode: The Boy in
the Tree), while Booth and Brennan were searching through Nester's
room, I noticed a song is playing extremely faintly in the background.
I really can only hear it coming from the left side of my head phones.

I've looked all over, but I can't find what song it is! The only words
I can pick out are "I was right, and you were wrong"

Magic Sing mic DELAY? :[[?

Hi,

So we purchased our new magic sing last year and all was working well.
NO delay whatsoever. All of a sudden we got a new SONY t.v, and now
there's a 2 second delay. I've tried changing the audio output set to
t.v mode, but there was delay just as bad as our normal Surround
Sound.

Any advice please? i'd really like to get it fixed. and when we use
it, it's irritating with a 2 second delay.

how can I improve my singing voice?

i absolutely love to sing and id like to do more with it, like sing
for people. but i dont think my voice is really good. i think i can
sing ok, and when i was younger i used to sing in talent shows and i
came 2nd place in one and used to be really confident about it
sounding ok and singing for people (: but now i have this problem i
dont think i used to get where i get very restrained like i feel held
back when i try to sing sometimes? its like a barrier, to explain it a
bit better, and i really want to break through it. also my voice can
be fine and everything but then at random times it feels croaky in my
throat and i think thats sort of to do with the restraint.. could a
singing teacher help me break past this? i really hope so, because i
love to sing and id love to sing to people so it kinda sucks that i

What '80s hair band sang "My Number"?

The band changed names at some point. Before or after "My Number", I
don't remember. I believe they had one pseudo-hit that was a
power-ballad (maybe about suicide or not having real friends or
something) but was not the song I'm asking about. This song was a
three power-chord song (like most of the day...)

When I google, all I come up with is Milli Vanilli. THAT is not the
correct answer, although they were from the '80s, had a lot of hair
and sang a song about "my number".

Any ideas?

finding a mix tape song from early 90s?

Around 1994 I was a toddler and I remember my father had a techno
trance type mix tape on cassette. I remember hearing a song that I
liked. It was a male repeating "Everybody, look at me". I was able to
find that the title was indeed "Everybody, Look at me" because I read
the titles on the cassette tape. However now I don't remember if I saw
an artist or tape name. I am hoping that someone can help me find out
more about this song. It is not "Everybody Look at me" by Blue Beat.
This was more like a euphoric slow yet generic sort of trance techno
song. From what i remember the male singer was repeating the phrase in
a sort of upward happy voice that i can definitely recognize if i hear
the song again thats why I'd greatly from the bottom appreciate any
clues of any kind because just the very thought of this song will
bring me back wonderful memories of the past thanks very much

What do you think of the movie "The Tree of Life"?

Personally, I loved it. It was a very fantastic movie in my opinion
and I felt like watching the story of my own life while watching the
film. I just don't see understand why a lot of people did not like it.
In fact, some people who were with me literally walked out of the
theater halfway through the film.

Why do people keep saying Africans invented rap?

I keep hearing about Africans or Jamaicans inventing rap. The furthest
back incidence of "rap" i have found was a white man back in 1930. If
anyone has anything (with actually beats and such) further back then
this please share.

What is this movie name called?

Ok I used to love this movie when I was little The beginning starts
with a girl in the back seat well no seat actually and just in the
floor in the car and her parents are in the front seat. (I only
remember some parts and thats all) And then I remember the girl's
parents getting turned in to pigs and then I remember the girl being
in some place having to work and clean. And then I remember a huge
baby that was mean and trapped the girl in his stuff. And then I
remember this big dirty person that the girl had to clean and then a
spirit came out of all the mud and stuff after it was clean and at the
end of the movie the girl had to choose the right 2 pigs that are her
parents to get them turned back to human. That's all I remember. I
really love that movie but I forgot the name to it. Any ideas?

Should I release a single or what till I'm signed?

Hi, Im a musician. Im 18. I write songs, compose and sing... Well, I'm
not known since I never tried to be known. I make songs in my home
studio. they turned out quite good! So now since its summer, i was
wondering if its a good idea to put my songs on itunes. or... should I
wait and keep my songs? How can people hear my songs if I put them on
itunes through cdbaby etc? OR Do I have to make the commercializing

Oh and, should I release one of my songs or as an EP(3-4 songs) which
ones best to start off with?
